I have a robotic tape library with the tapes all partitioned out for specific jobs in backup exec. For example I have 4 full weekly jobs that each run one designated week each month, a daily incrimental job that runs daily, and a weekly offsite backup job that gets sent to offsite storage once a week.
I need to be able to tell each individual/group of jobs to auto cancel after a certain ammount of time if the job has not completed. I can set this option under the "Priority and Availability" settings in the job properties, however if I set this option for one job it copies over to ALL jobs.
This normally wouldn't be a problem, however we have the jobs assigned to run at specific times so they are not interfering with other non-backup exec backup jobs such as database backups, co-lo replications, and VM backups/snapshots.
For the life of me I am unable to find any documentation on this nor any options that will allow me to seperate these schedules between jobs. Is there any way to do this or am I chasing a wild goose?
