Backup speed is too slow

Hope all good at your end.

I have installed symantec backup exec 2010 R3 {version 13.0 Rev 5204 64 bit} on my HP server DL380 G7 (windows server 2008 R2 standard version 64bit).

On that same server my Symantec endpoint portection is also installed but on diffrent drive.

Backup is getting on Tape drive .i.e. External HP LTO 6 with SCSI.

Issue is I am taking backup of my internal servers folders and the speed I am getting is 70 to 77 MB/min which is very poor speed.

Same I had discussed with one of my colleague as per him the speed should be in MBPS.
